Kawasaki Vulcan description

Up for auction is a beautiful Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 800. The original owner was an older man who kept it in his garage and rode it occasionally. I bought it from him 18 months age and also garage kept it but now am commuting on a smaller bike and no longer need it. The bike has only 3,635 miles on it. Over the last 2 weeks I have installed a brand new battery, spark plugs, rubber fuel tank mounts, oil change, chrome K&N oil filter, K&N air filter, serviced the carb, etc. It has never been dropped and always kept out of rain and sun. The engine is very clean with no leaks. Even when cold, the bike starts instantly with a little choke and after a few seconds with the choke pressed back in, the engine smooths to the nice rumbling idle known to v-twin cruisers. This is a liquid cooled bike and there are a number of these model bikes at over 100,000 miles with no problems. It weighs in at right under 600lbs which is enough to keep from being blown around on the highway but with a 29.5 inch seat height and a low center of gravity it feels very stable and is a great bike for someone looking for a cruiser that will exceed a 100mph but not wanting a monster.
This bike is in perfect working order and the only body blemish I am aware of is a small blister on the fuel tank decal which can be seen in the last photo. If there is an angle I missed or anything you want to see that is not shown just send me an email address and I will send more photos. This bike does have a reserve but it is well below market value. Clear title awaiting new owner.

Bike is located in Chattanooga TN. Local pickup or buyer arranged shipping only. A $200 non-refundable PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction ending with the final amount paid via cash in person or a cashier's check within 7 days.

And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.
