Kawasaki Vulcan description

Here is a one-owner (me) 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter in exceptionally nice original condition. It is ready to ride, needs nothing, and is virtually stock as I purchased it in July of 1999, except for a few extras - it comes with engine guard bar, windshield, sissy bar, luggage rack, two keys, and factory shop manual. Along with those I have included the original seat guard bar and rail assembly if you wish to re-install that instead of using the sissy bar and luggage rack I currently have installed. I also have a Special Edition owner's package issued to all owners of 1999 Drifters, which includes a sales brochure, VHS tape, key fob, engraved handlebar mount, and owners certificate from Kawasaki, if you want it. It's personalized, but I am willing to let it go with the bike. Within the past year I have installed a new battery, two new tires - both Michelin Commander II's, and new rear brakes. I have kept this bike garaged since new other than when I am riding it, and I am positive you will be exceptionally pleased to have this first year Vulcan Drifter in such good condition.  1999 was the first year Kawasaki produced the Drifter, and it came in just one color as you see pictured. Subsequent years saw several colors added, but you can always tell a '99! This is a great bike - just start it up and go! Any questions? please ask! Local bidders are welcome to take a look. Shipping is up to the winning bidder, or pick up as desired. I am willing to deliver under some circumstances, in or out of state depending on the situation, but for planning purposes for most bidders, you should plan on arranging your own pickup before bidding. Thank you for looking!

2014 Kawasaki KSR Pro Announced

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

When Honda introduced the Grom earlier this year, it kicked off a renewed interest in the monkey bike, small-sized motorcycles with a high fun-factor that made up for its single-digit horsepower output. Suzuki is on board, announcing a new electric mini-bike concept called the Extrigger. But we’d be remiss if we forget that Kawasaki has been producing a mini-bike of its own for the Asian market.

Single-Cylinder Kawasaki Ninja Spotted in Indonesia

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

Based solely on recent history, you’d think the engineers at Kawasaki are strong believers of the “bigger is better” philosphy. You need only look at the Ninja ZX-6R which shook off the shackles of the 600cc supersport segment with a 636cc displacement, then came the Ninja 300 replacing the 250. New spy photos from Indonesia, however suggest there’s still room for smaller engines from Team Green.

The Real "screamer": Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R

Wed, 05 Aug 2020

It seemed that the glorious times of the tiny "fours" - 250cc sportbikes with boosted engines to almost 50 hp are long gone. But the Indonesian branch of the Kawasaki enterprise resurrected this breed! The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R sportbike with a 51hp at 15,500 rpm four-cylinder engine is entering the local market, as well as the markets of some other countries of the Far East, including Japan.
