Kawasaki Vulcan description

Selling my 1997 custom Vulcan Classic 1500. Bike is in excellent running condition, good cosmetic.

Has a custom red over maroon flame paint job. I bought tank and fenders on eBay years ago and replaced originals. Bike turns heads.

In the last few months, getting ready to put up for sale I've had the following done:

* Carb clean & rebuild
* Filters
* Plugs
* Brakes

Inspected until next summer, and ready to go. Runs like a top. Tires good for at least another 5k miles.

Some cosmetic issues, like pitting on top exhaust pipe and flaking of chrome on handlebar risers, a little pitting and such in various places. Windshield needs to be de-fogged a bit. But overall, chrome is good and it shines up nice.

You won't find a nicer bike at this price and it runs strong and can be ridden anywhere.

WSBK: 2012 Donington Results – Video

Mon, 14 May 2012

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
