up for bid is a 1974 kawasaki 500 h1 E Mach III matching number restored this year bike. This bike had 12,000 original miles. The crank was rebuilt, new bearings, seals and one oil slinger, new rods, top rod bearings, wesco pistons. Cylinders were bored, all new gaskets and seals through out engine. Barnett clutch plates and springs. Carbs were rebuilt as well as fuel petcock. Engine check valves were cleaned, oil line check valves were cleaned and adjusted and oil line crush washers were replaced with seal washers. Engine timing was set and carbs were synced. New plug wires, none resistor solid core and new plug caps none restor NGK. New fuel lines and filters K-N air filters also. Bill Wirges dyno tuned chambers. New clutch cable, throttle cable, tackometer cable. Bike was sand blasted and repainted except gas tank. Tank has 35 year old flame job, left for vintage look. Tires are also 35 years old for vintage look. Front forks were rebuilt with new seals and 20w oil. Dust boots are new. Duel disk brakes were installed. Forks were turned so calipers could be mounted on bottom of forks. Rotors were drilled and re-surfaced. Calipers were rebuilt with new pistons and seal kit. Custom brake lines were intalled as well as a new master cylinder 5/8 for duel setup. New front brake pads and rear shoes. New triple tree tapered roller bearings were installed. Speedometer and tack were professionly rebuilt and calibrated and zeroed. New rubber mounts for speedometer and tack as well as handle bars. New clutch control lever, mirrors, grips, badges, decals, side cover rubbers were also replaced. Seat is after market and 35 years old but in good condition. left side rear has some white spots as seen in picture. Chain is new. Front fender has some small dings. Shifter chrome has some flaking not bad. Swing arm bushings were replaced all lights work, horn works, blinkers work, new rear shocks. New lithium-ion battery (less than 2 pounds) have owners manuel, warranty book, tool kit and plug caddy. Grab bar and reflectors were removed. New oil tank strap, gas tank strap and tank rubbers. Rides nice, little stiff. Runs good, less than 100 miles on engine, Oil injecton system works fine.sold as is. Thanks for looking, needs a new good home.

Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo

Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.

Blake Young to Ride Attack Performance CRT in Three U.S. MotoGP Rounds

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
