Kawasaki Other description

I am selling my first year RARE low VIN number  Green  1976 Kawasaki Kz 650 Z 650 B1 KZ650.  I bought the bike as you see it and had intentions of restoring it, but I just don’t have time for it. This bike is not in running condition and is sold for repair, restoration, Cafe racer project or parts. The bike only has 16033 miles on it and was last used in 2008. Not many of these around.  Please READ the entire ad before bidding

ENGINE:  the 1976 B1 model was the first year for this bike and has a few distinguishing features. The left Kawasaki engine cover has 3 mounting holes; the right engine point’s cover is different as well. The engine turns over and feels great. The bike is all stock (original exhaust). I have not tried to start it, it will need a complete fuel system and carburetor clean and I am sure it will run.

BODY: This bike has original paint but needs restoration to be a mint example. Missing the right side cover. The seat cover will need to be replaced  (examine all pictures for condition I included tons of pictures).

CHASSIS:  This B1 has a very unique feature that will be found on no other KZ650’s: The front caliper on the B1 is mounted forward of the forks. On all other models, the caliper was mounted to the rear of the forks. The bike is missing a few miscellaneous brake parts.

The bike has a title (in my name) and is sold with the keys, original tool kit, owner’s manual, and warranty book.

V.I.N. KZ650B-005009 dated 8/76

I think I have gone through everything. Don’t miss out. Examine all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. If you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes.

If you have negative or zero feedback you must email me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. I have been burnt by new ebayers too many times in the past. Email me to show you are serious. Bidders that bid and then retract their bid for no reason will be blocked.

This Bike must be picked up from Lowell MA 01852. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made

Kawasaki Announces 2015 Vulcans

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

Today Kawasaki released the list of its not-particularly-updated but available in 2015 returning models in the Vulcan line. The big news of these announcements is that the two 1700 Vulcans received a $2,000 price reduction from last year. That’s right, a price reduction.

Thief Steals Motorcycle from Crash Victim

Tue, 07 Aug 2012

It already sucks when you’re involved in a motorcycle crash. I found that out myself first-hand recently. It’s even worse however when someone steals your bike while you’re lying on the ground with severe injuries.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Daytona Results

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
