Kawasaki Other description

This 1974 Kawasaki F7 175 is a better than average example of a well preserved, good running machine. Serial Number F7-96563, manufactured 7/74. Other than a new battery, fresh fuel, and minimal cleaning, this bike is in as found condition. More detailing is up to the next owner. It starts easily and runs well. I have ridden it, and everything works as it should. Only 6607 miles showing on the odometer. This bike has the hard to find Hatta Forks, which came configured as straight axle, but could easily be changed to the leading axle position for "serious competition". . . Includes the original Kawasaki tools in the pouch. Please take some time to look at the photos. There is not a scratch or dent on the skid plate, suggesting this bike has never been used off road. Both wheels are straight and run true, with no play in the bearings or swingarm. The footpeg rubbers show no wear, and even the chains on the foot controls are intact and undamaged. All of the hand controls are also in excellent original condition. The seat shows some wear with a few minor blemishes. . . Located in Brookline, NH, 03033 USA. I will work with the winning bidder to coordinate pickup for shipping if needed, however all arrangements are the responsibility of the winner. International shipping is OK. . . Terms of Sale: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of end of auction. I will accept final payment via PayPal if the winner covers the PayPal fees. Bike will not be released for pickup or shipment until all funds are in my possession. . . NOTE: If you have less than 5 positive feedback, PLEASE contact me BEFORE bidding, or your bid will be rejected. This bike is being sold with NO RESERVE and a low opening price. . . Good Luck! Bob

Kawasaki World Debut At AIMExpo

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19.  “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor.  “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.

Max Biaggi Tests Pirelli Angel GT Tires on an Aircraft Carrier – Video

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

Pirelli sure knows how to make an impression. Is there a more dramatic way to test the stopping ability of Pirelli’s new Angel GT sport touring tire, than on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier? After all, these surfaces are used to the physics of 30,000-pound fighter jets decelerating from 150 mph to a dead stop in a matter of seconds.
