Willing to deliver up to a few hundred miles for a fee. Selling because I haven't had a chance to ride it as much since my son was born, and I think it just needs a good home at this point. Meticulously maintained by only me, (I'm a mechanic by trade), new front and rear brake pads last month. Oil is fresh (changed every 2000 miles with full synthetic/new filter), clean calipers and chain/sprocket. Proper break in done when new. New tires with about 1,500 miles. 'Michelin Pilot Road 4' It's obviously never been dropped, one owner, adult owned and always well taken care of. No damage on bike. It was my daily commuter. Very solid bike, you will love it. Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.

Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
Villopoto to Miss 2012 AMA Motocross Season
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Reigning champion Ryan Villopoto will not compete in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship after injuring his knee at the recent Supercross race in Seattle, Wash. Villopoto has won the last three indoor and outdoor championships, capturing the 2011 AMA Motocross title as well as the 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross titles. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider will not be able to stretch that run into a fourth consecutive title.
