o Dyna Electronic Ignition (No points! – Stock points ignition included)
    o S&W shocks

o Factor rear grab rail (not installed) included
o Factory original owners manual, warranty manual and tool kit included

I got this bike from the original owner a few years ago and he put a lot of love into this bike as evidenced by the condition. Because of a long battle with illness, the bike had been in dry storage and had not run in 12 years. I cleaned and rebuilt the carburetors (29mm Mikuni’s), rebuilt the brake calipers, flushed the brake fluid and went over everything. The gas tank is completely rust free.

There are very few KZ900s that still have the original paint and ones in this condition are extremely rare. Please take a close look at the high resolution pictures - they should tell you more about the condition than I can explain here. I have 60+ pics to share – send me a PM and I’ll send you a link.

If you have read this far, you probably know what you are looking at. For reference, repainted, restored examples of 1976 KZ900s that were not at nice as this one that have gone for over $12K here on Ebay.

Shipping: I am happy to work with your shipping company to get the bike shipped. I have worked with Uship before and I have had decent results but am happy to work with whomever you chose.

Payment: I will accept a $1000 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of winning. The remaining balance will need to be paid in cash upon pick up. I will accept a bank wire transfer but will not release the bike until my bank confirms the transfer.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have and will try to respond quickly to inquiries. Happy bidding!

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

2014 World Supersport – Phillip Island Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

Supercross Preview With Factory Kawasaki Riders Ryan Villopoto & Jake Weimer

Wed, 04 Jan 2012

In anticipation of this Saturday’s Supercross opener in Anaheim, California, Kawasaki invited a select crowd of enthusiasts and journalists to join their employees at the corporate offices in Irvine, California, for the annual Team Monster Energy Kawasaki pep rally. We sat down with defending SX champ, Ryan Villopoto, and his teammate, Jake Weimer, to get their perspectives on the upcoming season. Both men entered last season at less than 100%.
