Kawasaki KZ250LTD description

1980 Kawasaki KZ250LTD

The original owner of this bike purchased it new in 1981 and we were able to purchase it from her.
She rode this bike very little and it has very low mileage.

Recent Service we preformed:
New battery and oil change
Cleaned carb and gas tank
New o-ring on left side cover

Bike runs well and everything works.

Not all of the chrome is perfect and this bike could use a good clean up.
Front tire has some weather cracking and there is a minor mark on the front seat.
Some of the chrome has oxidized from sitting and there is minor pitting in the left front fork.

This would be a great first bike as it has an electric start and the seat height is low.

Kawasaki World Debut At AIMExpo

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19.  “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor.  “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.

Pooch Maxi

A reader sent in this news story featured on SWNS.com. Sean Cole, 43, a pizza delivery man has hand-built the transparent kennel and fixed it to the back of his red Kawasaki GPZ900 to carry his dog Gizmo with him when he's out and about. The box has special air holes and a fan to keep the one-year-old dog – a Coton de Tulear – nice and cool on each trip.

Lascorz smiling in first post-crash photo

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Nearly three months on since Joan Lascorz's accident in the post-race test at Imola, the first image has appeared showing the Spaniard in good spirits whilst he undergoes rehabilitation. The terrible crash left the 27-year-old factory Kawasaki rider with a fracture to his C6 vertebrae, and fears that it would leave him quadriplegic. Fortunately, as shown in the picture with his raised arm, Lascorz has recovered full sensitivity in his upper limbs.
