Corbin Rider Appreciation Day July 5 & 6 In Conjunction With Rebirth Of Hollister Rally

Corbin has announced that all vendor spaces on the lot are filled for their 4th Annual Rider Appreciation Day, held this year on July 5 and 6. Last year, Corbin had thousands of riders show up to help celebrate our country’s birthday and take part in the festivities and expects a much bigger crowd this year, since the city has approved the Hollister Rally and the event covers two days. Mike Corbin reported that the city is feverishly working on the final details in order to make this year’s Hollister Rally one to remember.

Stuart Easton has been the sole hope for Scotland in BSB since his friend and mentor Steve Hislop left us nearly ten years ago. Rat boy, as he’s known to friends, shone in the 125 and Supersport class and until his horrendous crash at the North West 200 last year was a serious contender for the 2011 BSB title. Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
