1981 Kawasaki KL 250 motorcycle
This bike is in wonderful overall condition for its age. The red paint is in excellent condition, with minor fading to the plastic pieces. The fuel tank has a small dent, their is a minor tear in the seat, and the turn indicators are no longer on the bike, other than that it is in great working order. I bought this bike new in 1982 and it has been garage kept all of its life. I used this bike mostly for trail riding and a few small trips across town. There is less than 9000 miles on it. It runs great and usually starts off on the first or second kick. Great bike for the beginner, a short commute to work, or just out enjoying the trails. Please email with any questions. The extreme compressor monster, which does not have access to public roads, has shown that the F-16 fighter jet and the Bombardier Challenger 600 business class aircraft on the earth's surface are not competitors to it. Slightly behind the two-wheeled rocket and the championship car Red Bull RB8 2012.
WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
