This Matching Numbers bike is all original except for the repainted rear cowl .

The tank and side covers are 100% original factory paint. The bike has excellent compression and turns over easily .

It was running when last parked 6 years ago. The bike has its original factory air intake canister set up, original pipes,

original wiring, turn signals, gauges, etc etc...mileage is true and original at 10,862 miles There is pitting on the forks.

This bike is a fantastic restoration waiting to be completed.

I really should have hooked up a new battery and attempted to start it but I have to many bikes in the garage and some have got to go now.

I Have included a picture of under seat area so you can see all the original wiring which has not been cut or modified.

even the rare original air SNORKEL is present!!!

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
