KTM EXC description

Unfortunately I am forced to sell 1998 KTM 250 EXC. Very fast and solid, normally starts in the 1st two kicks, the motor runs really smooth and the bike is in good shape, the previous owner only rode it in his yard and I've only been riding it occasionally. The bike has a full FMF exhaust, radiator guards and a pipe guard, the front tire is almost new and the rear has about 75% tread left, I also changed the front chain sprocket to add torque. The compression is good and so is the suspension, it has never been raced or beaten and was well maintained. Please do not contact me unless you are truly interested. I need to sell to pay bills so the highest offer by November 25th takes it$1600 or best offerFor more details Call or text 610 301 816seven My name is mikeIf I don't answer please leave a message, I will get back to you as soon as I can

Why KTM's sport 350 is a good idea

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

KTM were unlucky when their plans were leaked (for covert market research?). Amongst those listed was the forecast for a Moto3 350. Now it is unlikely that the Moto3 class is going to grow from 250 to 350 by 2014, unless KTM are aware of something that the MotoGP rule-makers aren't.

2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Revealed

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

When news broke yesterday of leaked details of the new 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure, the first question that crossed our minds was “when do we find out about the R version?” The answer, it turns out, is today, with a new photograph of the 1190 Adventure R now surfacing. Members of ADVForum, where we found the original leaked KTM brochure, have uncovered new a studio photo of the R model as well as the non-R version. The 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R is equipped with larger wheels than the base model, likely a 21-inch wheel up front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear (the non-R 1190 Adventure appears to sport a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.) We are surprised the tires appear to be street tires and not knobby off-road rubbers.

KTMannounced plans to enter the MotoGP World Championship with a brand new V-4 prototype to be called the KTM RC16. KTM would be the latest major manufacturer announcing plans to enter the series, following the current ongoing projects by Aprilia and Suzuki. Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer announced the news in an interview with Swiss site Speedweek.com, saying the company plans to reveal the RC16 in fall 2015 and spend 2016 developing it.
