Indian FTR Carbon

Sun, 17 May 2020

Indian FTR Carbon differs from the base model in the wide use of carbon fiber parts: the false tank and air filter housing, headlight housing, decorative passenger seat cover and front fender are made of carbon fiber. The motorcycle also has an Akrapović exhaust system made of titanium alloy. Otherwise, the Indian FTR Carbon is completely identical to the S-version of the FTR 1200.

Every customizer has an in-house photographer and a YouTube channel; media platforms from magazines to television shows are swamped in advertisements featuring riders and bikes; and biker fashion is all the rage on the streets, sidewalks and runways from Venice to Williamsburg.

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

The relaunch of Indian Motorcycles continues to be a resounding success for Polaris Industries, helping the company report a 107% increase in second quarter revenue from motorcycle sales. Polaris reported revenues of $103.1 million in the quarter ended June 30, more than double the $49.9 million in revenue reported over  the same quarter last year. Polaris continues to see strong demand for Indian, which relaunched last summer, while demand for Victory decreased by the mid-single digits.
