1947 Indian Chief. Matching numbers, clear Oklahoma title. I did nothing to the engine it runs fine. I did replace both gears in the trans. $500 spent on gears it was jumping out of second. New shock covers, wires and $500 spent on chrome at chrome shop. New paint. Powder coat frame wheels, front end. all brgs repacked. Speedo would not hook up to my cable it needs a different end for cable, corbin speedo. Volt meter needs lens and hooked up.12 volt system, with alternator. New chain. all lights work. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Hybrid Motorcycle Gets 282 MPG
Mon, 21 Dec 2009The ET-120 is the hybrid version of the Strike EV that was released earlier by Eko Vehicles based in Bangalore, India and claims to be the first hybrid motorcycle in the world. The new hybrid bike will feature a 70cc gas engine and electric motor that will get 120 km/l or about 282 mpg in hybrid mode, has a top speed of 40 mph but the power and torque will be equivalent to a 120cc engine. Indian Motorcycle has unveiled the 2022 FTR lineup
Tue, 09 Feb 2021That's right - now it's quite possible to talk about the family of "flat tracker" models, because from now on there are four models in it: FTR, FTR S, FTR R Carbon and FTR Rally. The FTR engine is unchanged, and even the 1203cc V-twin is still at 123bhp, but the engineers have tweaked the settings to make it Euro 5 compliant. Other than that, there are quite a few changes.
