Up for sale is a Rare 1967 Husqvarna 250 MX. CLEAR TITLE. Frame and motor numbers match # 670686. It does not run. It has been sitting since 1978. Motor turns over with lots of compression. Good spark. Transmission shifts through the gears. Front and rear brakes work. Gas tank has the original paint, Only 1 small ding in the right side chrome area. Inside has light rust. Solid. Motor has no broken fins. Pipe is solid. Seat foam is stiff. Appears to be no damage to the frame. Rear fender is cracked. Air cleaner has some dings. It has a mukini carburetor on it. Front wheel has a ding on the right side. Looks to be complete. Would make a perfect restoration project. Expect the typical dents and dings of a 1960s MX bike. Entering its 11th season of competition, two new venues will be joining the calendar, allowing more people to witness this exciting indoor off-road racing action. If you’re not familiar with it, EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing is sometimes described as carnage on two wheels, and will certainly keep you on your feet.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R Makes Public Debut
Wed, 14 Sep 2011The 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R made its public debut in Frankfurt, Germany, in the courtyard outside BMW’s display hall. Displayed together with other Husqvarna models as well as motorcycles from parent company BMW. The display bikes were all anchored firmly to their stands and test rides were not available but I did get some seat time on the Nuda.
