Honda Rebel description

Honda Rebel CMX250 in great condition.  I am the second owner and it was purchased with 1500 miles or so. All the miles I put on it were mainly highway miles. Since purchasing I've replaced the front tire and put in a new battery as well as regular oil changes. This bike has been garaged its whole life.  Mechanically speaking Bike runs great. The only issues with it are some minor rust spots (underneath pipes but nothing noticeable or serious and can be dealt with a little TLC) the saddlebags (one has a hole on the inside of it from rubbing up against the bike but you can still carry big things in there) and the windshield (the one that came with it is a generic windshield that doesn't fit the bike very well). Other than that this bike is ready to go. This is a great starter bike as it is usually the same model used in motorcycle schools. Perfect bike for smaller riders and an awesome commuter bike (I averaged 75 MPG on the highway and topped off at 80 MPG on a few occasions). Comes with owners manual, title, and two keys. Please email (grahamshark at aol dot com) or message me with questions or offers I am willing to negotiate either through ebay or off site. Bike is located in Providence, RI if you would like to check it out and buyer would have to arrange shipping or pick it up locally, I am willing to meet halfway under reasonable circumstances.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.

If you thought the license test was hard in America…

Thu, 28 Apr 2011

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Check out the video after the jump.

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
