Honda Other description

2013 HONDA NC700X DCT ABS, Fun yet practical. Back-to-basics yet advanced and sophisticated. Sporty yet easy to operate. Economical yet feature-rich. The innovative Honda NC700S is unlike anything else out there it really is a whole new way to ride. The fun starts with a low-revving 670 cc twin-cylinder engine that produces plenty of low-down torque for the cut and thrust of city traffic, plus strong top-end for effortless open-road cruising. The engine's forward-canted cylinders and compact overall size allow it to be mounted in a way that not only contributes to a low centre of gravity for light, nimble handling, but also opens up a huge storage space where the cylinders and gas tank would be on a conventional bike plenty big enough for a full-face helmet and more. The NC700S's sensible, upright seating position and an easy reach to the ground make it comfortable and confidence-inspiring to ride, wherever you go. And the Combined Braking System with ABS helps to provide safe, sure stops under hard braking and on wet or slippery roads. Add it all up, and you get a bike that's built for exactly the way you ride.

Used: MOTOTENT by Lone Rider

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.
