Honda Other description

1998 Honda Superhawk VTR1000, 998 Honda VTR1000F Firestorm (Superhawk) 30,000 miles Extremely fun, beautiful and rare sportbike! This Honda VTR1000 is actually a FireStorm 996 (non-US model) imported from Canada and is probably the only silver VTR you will ever see as Honda never made the Superhawk in silver. V-twin torque in the low and mid-RPM range make this bike super fun and very rideable. Great for commuting, twisties and track days (I only did 3 on it, and they were a blast!). Like a torquey Ducati but with Honda reliability. -Well-maintained. -Great mechanical condition. Some minor blemishes (scratches). -Yoshiura RS-3 dual exhaust sounds great and ads a bit of power. -Steel braided brake lines improve braking performance. -Corbin seat is super comfy. Also have Corbin passenger backrest -- the bike can fit a passenger if you remove the rear cowl. -Gen-Mar risers make the riding position slightly more upright for better comfort -- easy to remove if you want a more aggressive riding position. -New rear tire. Clean title, no accidents. Ready to go! This bike is rated among the best used bikes to buy according to Motorcyclist magazine and Cycle World. Cycle World Excerpt: Basic specs: A 996cc, 90-degree V-Twin sportbike making 103 rear-wheel horsepower that propelled the 452-pound VTR to an 11.03-second/124.26-mph quarter-mile and a top speed of 155 mph. Why it won: Without a doubt, the Super Hawk was one of the most enjoyable, affordable and user-friendly--but nonetheless extremely capable--sport machines ever built. This Canadian import has no CA emissions equipment, and has been continuously registered in CA since 1999. It was professionally re-jetted with the Yoshimura exhaust, giving a wonderful exhaust note and a few extra horsepower (around 115 bhp). Cash in hand and M1 license if you want a test drive - serious buyers only, please. I just bought a new enduro as my riding style has changed I no longer need this wonderful sportbike that I've loved for several years -- I hope it finds a good home and is well taken care of. $3,250.00 4084806827
