Honda Honda description

This project was completed over the course of two years, no deadline, no rushing, no budget. There was a lot of time spent removing everything possible off of the frame, hiding wiring, fabbing electrical compartments and smoothing out all joints before paint. There was also a good deal of mock ups and fabrication rerouting the exhaust and creating the tail section to house the muffler. Motogadget relays and switch gear, vintage microphones housing a tail light and high intensity fog light, etc.

Here's a list of modifications:

Aermacchi gas tank and modified tail section
Tail houses Cone Engineering muffler
Vintage microphones - headlight and tail light
Frame chopped, de-tabbed, all joints re-welded and smoothed
New header with custom mid pipe
Mikuni 36mm roundslide with custom made velocity stack
Custom fabbed carb manifold
Vortex clip ons
Progressive shocks and springs
Steel-braided brake lines
Vintage Honda racing paint scheme
Ballistic battery
Motogadget switches and relays
Custom seat upholstered by New Church Moto
Modified footpegs
New controls, master cylinder and reservoirs
Turn signals mounted to passenger peg mounts

Note:
- Compact. If you're interested in this motorcycle, know that it is very compact. If your inseam is over 30" or you're over 180lbs you are going to be cramped.

The RCV1000R is based on Honda’s RC213V factory prototype, with the same chassis and a similar 90° V-4 engine claiming more than 234 hp at 16000 rpm. The key difference is the engine uses traditional spring valves whereas the valves on the RC213V are activated pneumatically.
