The 35000 mile service was performed last November ($951.17) and included new OEM pads on rear (left front at 20% worn and right front at 10% worn), The HONDA recall was performed in April of this year. I am the Second Owner of this bike. There was a small crack on the chrome trim next to the right rear trunk light and a small hole (pea size) in the drivers seat when I bought it. I have not repaired these small imperfections as they are hardly visible and have not gotten worse since my purchase. This bike is in great condition with no mechanical or body/paint issues and has been meticulously maintained and kept in the garage. I am selling because I bought a new F6B and can't keep them both. Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams
Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
Honda Announces New 125cc Scooter Engine with Idle Stop
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Honda announced it is developing a new 125cc scooter engine with an idle stop system promising 25% better fuel economy than existing engines. The announcement comes alongside the announcement of a new 700cc engine which will be introduced with the Honda Integra scooter. The new engine will be introduced in a variety of scooter models around the world in 2012.
PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen
Wed, 11 Apr 2012New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.
