Honda Gold Wing description

Up for sale is my 1993 Honda Gold Wing GL 1500 Special Edition with 101,000, the motorcycle has a clean title brand new timing, new front tire, new spark plugs and all the fluids have been changed. The gold wing is an excellent machine and is a true dream to ride. I have put over 3000 miles on this bike my self and I really hate to sell it, I just have too many motorcycles and I don't have the time to give this one the attention it deserves.

The exterior of the Gold Wing shines well and the paint is in great shape for being 20 years old. It does have a few minor imperfections but still shows well. The chrome is in excellent condition and polishes up nicely. The seat has recently been recovered and I can include a gray seat cover as well.

The trailer was over $1800 when new and it is a great accessory on those long trips.

This is a great package for the summer and is ready to ride.

Call me for a showing or with any questions.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

2013 Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport Officially Announced for US

Tue, 29 May 2012

As expected, Honda has officially announced it will introduce its new CRF250L to the U.S., offering it as a 2013 model for $4,499. The 2013 Honda CRF250L is powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single inherited from the CBR250R, so it carries the same low-friction innovations such as the roller rocker arm design. Like the CBR, the CRF250L is produced in Thailand, helping keep costs low.

Max Biaggi Announces Retirement

Wed, 07 Nov 2012

Max Biaggi will retire as a champion, announcing his decision to step away from the sport after winning his second World Superbike Championship by just half a point. The man known as the Corsair and the Roman Emperor announced his retirement this morning at a press conference at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, Italy. Biaggi ends his 21-year international racing career with six world championships, with four consecutive 250cc Grand Prix titles from 1994 to 1997 to go along with his 2010 and 2012 WSBK titles.
