Up for sale is a gorgeous garage kept 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100 Interstate motorcycle. The bike only has 39,805 miles...considering it is over 25 years old...that is extremely low mileage for a highway bike! I purchased this earlier this year for my husband's anniversary gift; however, it poses to be too much bike for a beginner (even a large 6'2" guy was scared to touch it). Rather than it sit in my garage, I would love to sell to someone that would thoroughly enjoy it. The bike was serviced in April and is in great condition. It is ready to ride and I have the title in hand waiting for the perfect buyer. We put a good deal into the bike to ensure it was mechanically pristine. Intermot 2012: Honda CRF450 Rally Unveiled
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.

Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
