1976 Honda GL1000 LTD Bicentennial edition.
Very good condition for a 40 year old bike. Bike had a good check ( mild restoration) 3 years ago. Paint was redone , motor had all the rubber seals replaced, belts replaced, new fork seals, rebuilt carbs with Randakk's carb kits. New brake pads, Has Dyna S Electronic Ignition, Tires are in good condition. Chrome is in good condition with some scuffs. Remember this is a 40 year old bike and not in showroom condition, but it is a very nice bike with some flaws. Rims and spokes have some tarnish, paint has a few chips, starter slips from time to time,but has not failed me. Starts up good , shifts good, and stops good. Idles a little rough until warms up. I use the choke until it gets warm. Please ask any questions or concerns before bidding. I will answer to the best of my knowledge. |

Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
