THE ROADSMITH HT1800 IS AN INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION CONVERSION AND HAS A GREAT RIDE. THESE CONVERSIONS COME STANDARD WITH INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION, DISC BRAKES, AUTOMOTIVE GRADE HEAVY DUTY DRIVESHAFT AND CV JOINTS, TRUE TRACK STABILIZER BAR, ALLOY WHEELS, CARPETED TRUNK, AND TRAILER HITCH. THE HT1800 IS ALSO APPROX. 8" LONGER THAN MOST OF THE OTHER TRIKE CONVERSIONS GIVING IT A SMOOTHER AND MORE STABLE RIDE. WITH ALMOST 40 YEARS IN THE TRIKE BUSINESS, THE TRIKE SHOP HAS ONE OF THE FINEST TRIKE CONVERSIONS ON THE MARKET. Gresini Promotes Moto2 Pilot Pirro to Ride CRT Machine in 2012 MotoGP Championship

Gresini announced the re-signing of racer Michele Pirro, with a promotion from the Moto2 class to the premiere MotoGP class. Pirro raced for Gresini in the Moto2 class in 2011, finishing ninth overall with a third place finish and a victory in the season-ending Valencia round. For 2012, Pirro will compete in the MotoGP class riding a CRT bike with an FTR chassis and a Honda CBR1000RR engine.

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
