Honda CT90 CT Trail 90 description

1974 HONDA CT90 Trail 90
Street Legal, with Only 1944 miles

This auction is for a nice clean CT90 that I have owned for over 10 years. I purchased this for my wife and daughters, but they never used it. It has been inside my shop ever since I have owned it. This spring I decided to get it started up. I found that the compression was a little lower than I would like, so I rebuilt the top end. I installed New HONDA OEM valves, piston rings, air filter, spark plug, etc., as well as new gaskets and rubber seals. (I started my life as a mechanic in my parents HONDA Shop back in the 1970s). It starts easily, shifts smoothly, and runs well. This bike has a 4 speed transmission with a high and Low range, allowing for 8 transmission speeds. This bike also has an automatic clutch for ease of operation. It is street legal and has a clear Ohio Title.

Please see my other items for additional NOS and Nice Used Vintage Motorcycles and Parts. I am not a bike stripper or parts dealer. Most all of these parts come from my personal collection of spare parts for my own bikes. My family started a HONDA Shop back in the 1960s, and I have rotated a personal collection of motorcycles and parts ever since.

This is a Nice Clean motorcycle, with no leaks or drips. All of the controls operate smoothly. This bike has the optional spare gas tank, with helmet lock attached. It also has the optional passenger seat. There are no tears or scuffs on either seat.
One single key fits the ignition, steering lock, and helmet lock. The chrome is shiny, and in pretty nice condition.

This motorcycle is over 40 years old and does have a little light rust here and there, but look at the photos closely; there is nothing to hide. The license plate bracket has had a minor repair. The muffler has had some repair, but there are no leaks. I also have a NOS OEM Honda exhaust for this bike that I will include if the "buy it now" option is used.

Again, please review the photos carefully and contact me if you have any additional questions.

The buyer is responsible for picking up this bike at my location, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon prior to your bidding. If you are having it shipped, I will help load at my location, but all arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.

NOTE: I can deliver this bike to Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio next week for $20. if desired.

I reserve the right to end this auction early, if the reserve has not been met, as this bike may be for sale locally as well.

If you have less that 5 positive feedbacks, please contact me prior to bidding.

Thank You for your Interest,
and Good Luck Bidding!

Isle of Man TT 2012: TT Zero Results – MotoCzysz Wins 100 mph Bounty

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

Third time’s a charm. 2010 and 2011 TT Zero winner MotoCzysz, with rider Michael Rutter, finally became the first to average a speed of 100 mph on the Isle of Man‘s 37.733 Mountain Course on an electric motorcycle, capturing the long-sought after 10,000 British pound (US$15,000) bounty. Wearing the #1 plate for winning last year’s TT Zero, Rutter completed the 2012 TT Zero with a time of 21:45.33 for an average speed of 104.056 mph on the new 2012 MotoCzysz E1PC.

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.
