Up for sale is this really nice 1972 Honda CT70 which has been completely disassembled (other than the engine) and restored. The bikes frame,swing arm front forks,rear shocks and rims where all bead blasted down to bare metal then Primed,Powder Coated and then cleared .Every nut and bolt where machine polished then hand polished or replaced with OEM ones. All Chrome pieces where also polished or replaced with OEM parts. The back Taillight Bracket you cannot get anywhere so it was rechromed .I will try to list all the new parts on the bike. If there is something you don't see replaced just contact me.This bike runs really good and only has 3,000 miles on it so I did not rebuild the engine I just cleaned it up and put in new spark plug,points, oil and painted both side covers.This bike does not have a reserve so high bidder gets the bike.Again if you have a question please contact me. Michael Dunlop, of the famous Dunlop racing family, took the victory at the Royal London 360 Superstock race, giving him his third win of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The latest win gives Dunlop six in his career on the Mountain Course, tying him with such noted names as Geoff Duke, Jimmie Guthrie, Jim Redman and John Surtees.
Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.
Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
