For 2014, there???s new intake and exhaust ports, a new Dual-Timing PGM-FI fuel injection setup, and redesigned muffler internals to boost torque output and increase throttle response.The CRF450R is designed for the way riders ride today. There???s more whipping. More scrubbing. So we built a bike that takes weight off the bike???s ends, and concentrates mass towards the bike???s center. The first thing you???ll notice is our revolutionary air fork. It???s nearly two pounds lighter than a conventional coil-spring fork, taking weight off the front. WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point
Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.

Mon, 23 Jul 2012Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
Hero Honda Rebranded as Hero MotoCorp
Tue, 09 Aug 2011Honda’s former joint venture in India has officially rebranded itself as Hero MotoCorp, revealing the company’s new logo and signaling the beginning of a new era for India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Formerly known as Hero Honda, the joint venture claims a share of nearly half of India’s two-wheeled vehicle market. Honda decided in late 2010 to end its 27-year partnership with India’s Hero Motors, buying out its 26% share for $855 million, about half the market price at the time.
