EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Crosstourer Headed for Production

Honda announced it will mass produce the Crosstourer adventure tourer unveiled first in concept form at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The 2012 Honda Crosstourer will use a V4 engine similar to the one used in the VFR1200F and will also be available with Honda’s dual clutch transmission. Long-travel suspension adds to the adventure touring theme, but the Crosstourer is still more suited to paved roads than dirt.

Honda CBR300R Confirmed for Canada for 2015

It’s taken a while, but the Honda CBR300R has finally been confirmed for North America, as Honda Canada announced it would be available in the fall as a 2015 model. American Honda has yet to announced whether it would offer the CBR300R, but with today’s announcement of the NM4 and PCX150, we expect the CBR250R replacement will also be coming a a 2015 model. Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.
