Honda CM400 E description

This 1980 Honda, CM400 E, Twin Cylinder, Electric Start, motorcycle, has only 20,288 miles on it and has been garage protected for most of it's life.
Last driven on the road in 2013. Then it went into the Authorized Honda dealer for a re-conditioning. This is what was done;

Air Filter, O-ring chain, Link, Cyl head cover & gasket, oil change & filter, pump diaphragm, carb work, ex pipe gasket, sprockets, fork seals, choke cable, throttle cable, plugs.   Total with parts & labor was $776.22. I have the bill for your records.

It has a cool Vetter fairing, with inside pockets. A luggage rack with locking tour pak. Sissy bar with pad. Chrome Engine Guard. Helmet hook on seat. Chrome looks very good for a bike made in 1980. Will easily pass inspection. Runs very well, as it should for 700 bucks.

Issues; Decals on the side covers are peeling. And there is a small oil leak underneath the motor. I can't tell where it is coming from.
I have included a photo with the oil drips on a piece of cardboard, that was under the bike for two weeks. It's not much and has never gotten worse, over the years. Small tear in seat shown in photos.
And... I can't afford to spend any more money on a bike I can't ride. I'm 67 & have back problems that are getting worse.
I don't want to pay storage any more, so it has to go.

Please look closely at the photos and ask any questions that you may have. I'll deliver this bike, for free, AFTER payment has been made,
within 60 miles of Rochester, NY. Also up to a few hundred miles or so, for a buck a mile, one way.

Thanks for looking.
