THE GOOD THINGS : This CBR 900 RR is a very Rare Factory Red Model that had tons of custom work done to it. I am the 2nd owner and a mechanic. The bike is 100% mechanically sound. One great custom feature is the LED lamps that light up the bike red at night (as shown in Picture). This bike has a bunch of new parts installed already which all have been on the bike for less than a 1000mis (tires, battery, sprockets, red chain, and brakes). Michelin racing tire on rear. Dunlop Dual Compound tire on front. K N Air filter. two brothers slip on exhaust. Only Mobil one synthetic oil has been pre-owned for this bike. This bike has never been in any motor vehicle accidents or stunted. Adult owned . THE BAD THINGS : The original paint has scratches, nicks, and some cracks on the plastics. The chrome needs to be redone. Custom under tail not painted. Optional: I can paint the chrome parts for an additional charge. Please email me to discuss shipping arrangements.

Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

Awesome Anaheim Supercross

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross.  I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos.  We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks.  The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.

Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.
