Selling my 2012 Honda CBR 1000 HRC motorycycle. I barely had the time to ride this summer so I am looking to sell the bike. I spent almost 4k in modifying the bike. These are some of the modifications
that I've done on the bike: Powder coating the wheels, pegs, and subframe. Sato rearsets, asv levers, driven grips, puig double bubble windscreen, two brothers black series full system, bazzaz zf-I system, bmc street air filter, a full dyno, sato street hooks, and a oem Honda solo cowl. All professionally installed. Bike has never been abused or stunted on. Bike does have a lien from Honda Finance so buyer will have to wait for lien release before being able to register bike. Rossi runs special Simoncelli tribute helmet
Sun, 06 Nov 2011During the 10 o'clock trial laps today, Valentino ran with a new helmet dedicated to his friend Marco Simoncelli. To demonstrate how much Valentino was affected by the tragedy that hit the Honda rider, Valentino's helmet will be divided in half: the front part of the AGV GP-Tech will be exactly like Marco Simoncelli's, with its red and white motif and ever present number 58, while the back will maintain the colours Valentino used throughout the 2011 season. Vale will use the helmet for all of Valencia's weekend.
2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
