Honda CBR description

2005 Honda CBR 1000RR Repsol Edition

For sale by original owner.  The bike is beautiful with no scratches or dings in the bodywork.  I am selling it because I do not ride it often enough to justify it sitting in my garage.  Here are some facts about it:
  • Always garaged
  • Low miles: 3085
  • New Bridgestone front and rear tires (purchased January 2013)
Here is a list of modifications (I may have missed one or two):
  • Switched to lighter sprocket & chain combination (520 chain)
  • Using shorter 15/42 gearing than stock
  • A Speedohealer is installed to compensate for the gearing change (keeps the speedometer accurate)
  • The Speedohealer is plug and play and can be removed at any time
  • Black Vortex rearsets
  • Clear Alternatives integrated tail light (brake lights and turn signals combined)
  • Greggs flush mount front turn signals
  • "Larry's" license plate bracket (this and the integrated tail light eliminates the bulky stock rear fender)
  • Arata Ti slip-on exhaust
  • The passenger pegs have been removed (the stock passenger pegs are included)
  • The kick stand sensor is currently disabled, but can be easily enabled
  • The rear brake light is currently disabled, but can be easily enabled
  • I have the sponsorship decals that you sometimes see on similar bikes - they are included. In the photo of the front you may notice only one side has the PS2 decal.  This is because a microfiber cleaning cloth caught the edge of the other decal while cleaning the bike. I have another decal, but it wasn't on the bike when the photo was taken.

Believe it or not, news sites hate April Fools Day. On any other day, it’s challenging enough to find and verify news from a variety of sources, but on this day, everyone seems to want to outdo one another with fake press releases and everything needs to be checked in triplicate to root out what’s real and what is a prank. Take American Honda‘s announcement today, April 1, that it would bring the new Honda NM4 to the U.S.
