Up for sale is a rare, limited edition 2004 Honda CB50R "Dream 50" Type AR02. In 2004 Honda produced only 440 of these retro-styled bikes to commemorate their original 1960's RC110. This particular bike has never been ridden and is like new in every way. It was purchased in 2004 and has been displayed in a controlled environment for it's entire life. It has only one owner and includes the original sales receipt, manual, stickers, and a clean title. The bike has a thin layer of dust, but otherwise is showroom ready. The race stand visible in some pictures will NOT be included. Engine-wise everything is original but sold AS-IS. Because the motorcycle has not been fired up in years, I would recommend a thorough check-out by a mechanic if you intend to ride it. Please note that (by design) this motorcycle is NOT ROAD LEGAL and is Bump Start Only. Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Tue, 18 Feb 2014World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
