Honda CB description

1994 Honda Cb 1000R, a.k.a., Big One Mechanically this bike is stock. Customization has been cosmetic only. I'm the 3rd owner and I have the service records from the 2 previous owners - all adult riders. All body parts were painted jet black and the seat cowl was modified (same original seat). Added 1960's wing emblems to the side covers. I still have the original seat cowl and tail light (and a few other original parts) which will go with the bike. I also have a 3rd seat cowl which I attempted to transform into a cafer racer seat but never finished (work in progress).... Bike runs beautifully and screams when you give it a little gas. New breaks in the front and fresh oil. Tires with plent of tread. Price is $4,000 obo and I'll entertain any serious offers. . $4,000.00 6787657567

Rossi Wins at Assen, but Lorenzo Is the Hero; Alpinestars Releases Crash Data

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
