1983 Honda CB1000C. Paint and side covers are in amazing condition.
Look a the pictures. Usually the side covers are missing or damaged but
these are awesome. Everything works. Runs excellent and starts
immediately. Can ride it home. Have done the following in the last
month:
-Fresh full synthetic oil change and filter -Brand new battery -Front and rear brake flush -New turn signals, electronic flasher, and headlight -New handlebars and grips Comes with original Hondaline Backrest with storage pouch. Worth $100 on Ebay. If you are not familiar with these it was a 1 year model but shares most of its parts with the previous CB900C so parts are easy to come by. Has a 5 speed transmission with high/low range which is unique. Use low range for spirited riding or around town and high range for cruising. Or you can just leave it in high all the time. The common method is to use low range and then once in 5th shift to high for a 6th cruising gear. Shaft drive with air suspension. Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man
Thu, 16 Feb 2012Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.
2012 Honda CRF250L Announced for Europe But Not For America … Yet
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Honda announced it will introduce the new CRF250L to Europe this year. North American availability has not been confirmed, though it appears the new dual-sport, which shares a similar engine to the Honda CBR250R, may soon be announced for these shores. While there’s no official word on the Honda CRF250L in the U.S.,the liquid-cooled dual sport has already appeared in North America, appearing last weekend at the Montreal Motorcycle Show.
