Honda CB description

I am offering for auction sale my 1982 Honda, CB900SS.  This bike has all original black paint and decals and presents itself as in excellent physical condition.  Mileage is extremely low as she sat garaged in dry storage and not operated for many years (2006). This machine has been professionally overhauled with many new parts.  The carburetors are original and have been completely cleaned and rebuilt. She has brand new Michelin Pilot tires, tune up, filter, 4 NKG plugs and new fork seals.  The charging system has been completely replaced (Rotor/stator/rectifyer/battery).  All wiring and connections are excellent and in mint condition.  The bike has a brand new brake fluid reservoir.  New pads on the front and rear as well a rear piston rebuild kit.  Brakes work safely and flawlessly! The gas tank has been sealed inside using POR-15 and came out perfectly.  I had a OEM petcock affixed with a fuel line filter.  This bike runs like brand new and you won't be disappointed.  Happy bidding!

WSBK Racing Game Announced for Mobile Devices

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

Italian software developer Digital Tales is producing the first fully-licensed World Superbike Championship video game for mobile devices. The WSBK mobile game for tablet and smartphone devices was introduced at the 2013 EICMA show, with racers such as Pata Honda‘s Michel Fabrizio and two-time defending Superstock 1000 Champion Sylvain Barrier demonstrating the game for EICMA visitors. Digital Tales previously produced a MotoGP game in 2010 and the Ducati Challenge game for iOS devices.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
