Honda CB description

Great survivor!!!  This is one of the cleanest CB900F that you will find!  It is all original and these are getting harder and harder to come across!  This one runs good and is in very good condition!  Now this bike is still 34 years old and needs a few things done to turn it back into a cherry bike!  It needs 2 turn signals worked on (they both work just broken), the tank has some minor rust inside and needs to be boiled, and the carbs could be gone thru so it runs perfect!  The tank and side covers are almost perfect with just a few very minor blemishes!  The seat is also great, but does have one minor seam separation that could be repaired easily (shown in pic).  The one mirror is also bent from the previous owner setting it down in his garage, but really caused just minor scratches on speedometer along with the mirror.  This was a one owner with a clean title bike that I purchased yesterday and will be titling in my name Monday.  That's right I am only the second owner and will own it for only a week when I sell it!!! Don't miss out of this great and fast bike from the early 80's!  This bike does not have a reserve on it and buyer is responsible for pickup!  Thanks and good luck bidding!!!

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.

Naked 150SS Racer Concept turned into a production model.A show bike with a spectacular design and a cocky “racing” name was presented in March at the motor show in Bangkok, and starting with autumn it turned into a serial CB150R bike. The motor is a modest 150cc with two camshafts, liquid cooling and a six-speed gearbox. The CB150R features an inverted fork, a front caliper radial mount brake system and optional ABS.
