Honda CB description

All original paint K6.

Its a one owner bike. The owner was a professor from Wright State University. It was used for mild weather commute to and from school.

He had installed a crash bar and saddle bags which were taken off. You can see in some area's where the clamps were attached to the frame.

Although the chrome looks good I am including the following. New Speedo and Tach base. They look like they may be reproduction but very nice.

NOS front fender from Honda. Rear rechromed grab rail from a K6 and rechromed K6 rear fender. NOS factory Honda tail light bracket.

The carbs were rebuilt and set up. Valves adjusted, Oil and filter, New airbox filter, New chain was installed, new tires and a new battery installed.

The bike runs great and shifts very smooth. 341 Exhaust pipes with the usual corrosion per the photo's.

There are scratches and dings in the pipes but overall they look very presentable. Aluminum was never touched and should be restored.

Interior of the tank is very nice. Seat is in very nice condition, no tears. Cables are in great shape and everything works as it should, even the winker buzzer.

Paint still has great luster and deep original color. Side covers do not have any cracks or broken tabs. Few small scratches on the tank and a very small soft dent on the right front portion of  the tank per the photo's. Chain guard needs to be repainted. It looks like a sticker was removed and it blemished the surface.

I have the original owners maunal and tool kit that will be included. PA title in my name in hand.

Transporation provided by the buyer. Payment will be by Bank wire or cash and must be paid for within seven days after auction ends.

I can assist in helping find shippers if needed. Oversea's customers are welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4

Fri, 20 May 2011

Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.
