1976 Honda 550 Four that was garage kept and it shows! I have put about a 1,000 miles on the bike, several 75-80 mile trips just recently. The pics tell the story! Comes with a clear State of Tenn. title, complete factory tool kit and a period correct repair manual for maintenance purposes!. One side cover has "pecks" in the paint that is not evident in the pictures but is not cracked or tabs broken, just needs touched up. The bike fires right up w/electric starter or kick. All lights, instruments work as they should and tires have been replaced and are in great shape. The pipes are solid and not rusted out but not my preference. **Mileage may vary from listing by a few miles because I am still riding bike*** The bike is sold "as is" with no warranty expressed/ implied or any considered. The adverts consist of the supposedly the frame from Valentino Rossi's championship dominating machine from 2003 on eBay and a frame that comes complete with the sexy V5 engine. The eBay listing is currently at $510 and is literally an incomplete frame with the ad stating that it is the 'unfinished basis of replacement RC211V frame, all made in aluminium with CNC machined parts & high quality welding', the bidding is still under the reserve set by the user.
Honda Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results
Tue, 30 Oct 2012Honda reported a 1.8% increase in motorcycle sales in the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012, including a 13.2% increase in North America. According to the company’s second quarter report for its 2012-2013 fiscal year, Honda sold 3.879 million motorcycles over those three months, up slightly from 3.811 million units from the same period last year.
