This is  a 2013 Street Glide that I have built into a Street King. It has a 26"Chrome mammoth spoke wheel, Metzer tire, 26" Fi front fender, speed by design headlight housing, daymaker headlight, Dakota Digital, speedometer, JR custom 16" bars, Arlen Ness lower legs on forks, AIR RIDE FRONT AND REAR ON BIKE w/dual compressors, stretched tank covers over factory 6 gallon tank. screamin eagle air cleaner and programmer w/cord, sinister exhaust, battle axe shifter, stainless steel hwy bars, extended 2014 Harley bags and side covers w/polished bag extensions, custom smooth rear fender with hidden hitch, license plate is removable and a receiver hitch goes in for trailer, mustang single seat w/back rest and matching passenger seat. I know there is more I am forgetting and I will add as I think of it. I will get better pictures Friday when I get back in town. (raining today)

2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

The TwinTrax Is A Machine Straight From Mad Max

Just look at this motorcycle for a moment. A creation of the German Motorcycle Authority, the TwinTrax is nearly 107 inches long, weighs 882 pounds, and took owner/builder Christoph Madaus 12 years to complete. Oh, and don’t forget the two Harley-Davidson V-Twins powering this thing.
