Harley-Davidson Touring description

Thank you for looking.

Where to start. The bike has always been in a hangar or garage, selling for the simple reason; I don't have time to ride any longer and my interest have changed so after 40 years of riding, I'm giving it up. Want it to go to a good home.

Now, about the bike.

It came with the 103 power package option for 2011. The heads were removed and sent to Big Boyz for mild street porting to help haul 2 people through hills without struggling. Intake is also ported for better flow. Andrews cams and .030 MLS head gaskets, the bike has about 10.2 to 1 compression ratio. FULSAC exhaust header with Super Trap mufflers. TTS Tuner and tuning performed by Docs in Florida. The DYNO charts show 104 HP and 114 lbs of torque. I opted to keep the bike out of the full power range since it is used for touring but with tuning I'm know you can get more out of it. I did not build the bike for hot rodding, just touring. Changed the clutch spring to help with the extra power, not sure that it was needed since it came stock with the heavy spring fromHarley. Changed out the white walls for black wall tires so I don't have to scrub the white walls all the time. Has Corbin seat and passenger seat, Corbin rider backrest and Harley passenger back rest. Have chrome lower fork legs with hidden axle. Purchased a lot of stainless hardware installed some of it but never finished, the hardware comes with the bike. Comes with bike cover as well. There is a few extra items installed on the bike but I'm not into all the extra chrome, the classic has enough stock, just accented a few items which Harley did not do. The bike will come with a new rear tire installed, new plugs and oil change. All stock parts come with the bike as well, if you do not want them I will dispose of them.

Happy bidding...

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
