2009 Electra Glide Standard in Denim Black with the following:
Lowered Front and Rear (Progressive springs up front stock shocks with brackets in the rear) Sony Stereo with Harley Speakers (Hand stereo controls all work) Cruise Control Key Fob Security Fairing Mounted Mirrors Wild One WO575 1.25" Bagger handlebars Headlight and turn signal Chrome Visors Smoke colored turn signal and front fender tip lenses Vintage front fender Electraglide Emblems Denim Black Saddlebag Latches Vintage black Half-moon footboards Denim Black Old Style OEM Harley lower fairings with aftermarket vents. Rinehart Slip-ons Vance and Hines VO2 air cleaner (Factory Download fuel system adjustment) Fat-Boy tire up front (10mm wider then stock) I bought this bike with 2,900 miles on it and got it on the road in June 2011. For the past 5 summers it has gone back and forth to Ocean City Maryland 10 to 12 times every year with at least 75% highway miles and the rest local. Its low and lean and handles great buzzing around town but will go the long haul like you'd expect an Electra Glide to. The inner primary seal (at the tranny) was replaced in 2014 and that is the extent of the repairs it has required. The battery is about 2 years old. The front tire is getting a little worn but the rear has plenty of tread (has about 6,000 miles on it). It has paint chipping on the rear fender tip and around the hole for the passenger seat bolt and the left saddlebag top has an area where the paint was rubbed off (See pictures). The paint looks pretty good and there are no dents or major scratches. Keep in mind that the bike has 39,000 miles on it and there are plenty of minor dings, pitting of chrome and aluminum commensurate with a bike its age and miles. It has been kept in a garage except for trips which amounted to about 20 nights a year but rarely did it rain on it. I always used synthetic oils in the motor/primary/trans. All 3 oils were changed every 4,500 miles, kept topped off and with new oil filters every 1,500 miles. I am located just north of Baltimore. I had a 2007 Classic before this and after owning the '09 with its new frame I would never own a pre-'09 bagger again, the frame upgrade was that good not to mention the 180 rear looks so much better then the older skinnier tire baggers. |
