Harley-Davidson Touring description

I have for sale a 2008 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic (FLHTC). I am the original owner, and have been meticulous with care and maintenance, and it has never been dropped. The rear tire was replaced 500 miles ago, along with the rear brake pads, and I just replaced the motor oil, oil filter, primary oil and transmission oil. Inspected with title in hand. The Electra Glide has all the luxuries necessary for two up long distance touring, including electronic cruise control, AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo, comfortable seating, and large storage. It has 50K miles, but would easily pass for 10K; actually drives better than new due to the upgrades that have been performed. No reason to be scared of the mileage, as modern Harleys will perform well over 100K miles with routine maintenance, just as your auto will.
Harley Davidson upgrades include:
- HD Nostalgic series Rider foot board, passenger foot board, highway pegs, brake pedal, and heel + toe shifter.
- HD Flying wheel series derby cover, timer cover, and air cleaner insert.
- HD electra glo saddlebag lights and guard rails
- HD saddlebag lid rails
- HD tour pack luggage rack
- HD tour pack chrome hinge kit
- HD Display stand. Like a center stand, mounted on the front of the frame.

- HD headlight, passing lamp, and directional visor trim rings

- HD chrome gauge trim rings
- HD Batwing reach handlebars
- HD slotted windshield trim
- HD head bolt cover kit
- HD front axle bolt cover kit
- HD chrome engine fastener kit
After market and performance upgrades:
- Clearview vented windshield; it eliminates the helmet buffeting many experience behind the stock windshield
- Mustang touring seat; true all day riding comfort
- Hogtunes speakers and amplifier; audio clarity, and more than enough volume even at highway speeds
- K+N air filter
- Rinehart slip-on exhaust mufflers
- Andrews 26H cams. This is a mild cam that allows a Harley to perform the way it should before the EPA stepped in; increases performance in low to mid RPM ranges, the area a touring motorcycle is used in most often.
- TTS tuner; top of the line tuner used to make the slight corrections needed to the EFI system mapping when intake, exhaust or a motor component is changed.
- Screamin' Eagle compensator sprocket. The compensator sprocket is a spring loaded component in the drive line that absorbs the pulsations developed by a large V-twin motor. 2008 model year motors had a weak spring, and were subsequently shipped with this part in later year motorcycles, so I changed the part out.

This has been a wonderful motorcycle for me, and I know it will be for you also. I have spent over 40 years on 2 wheels, owning over 20 motorcycles, and its comfort, performance, and reliability would match any of them. I am only selling due to the fact that after riding the same motorcycle since 2008, I wish to change to something different, and am trying the sport touring platform. Feel free to email me back with questions, or to schedule a time to view it. This bike blue books for 11K, and that is WITHOUT any of the upgrades, so please, serious inquiries only. Thanks for considering my motorcycle.
