Harley-Davidson Touring description

2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLXHI

I have for sale a 2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLHXI. The bike is charcoal gray in color and runs excellent. Bike has been serviced every year I have had it. Rinehart dual exhaust sounds great. Bike currently has approximately 13,300 miles on it. Newer factory back tire with just over 1,000 miles on it. Bike runs and looks great. Have never had one issue with it. Only reason I am selling is because I just don't have the time to ride like I used to. There is some small scuffs on the top of the saddle bags from the passenger getting on and off. Could possibly be buffed out but hard to notice unless you are looking for it. Bike comes with a backrest, Harley-Davidson cover, Mustang dual seat., and original factory seat. This bike has been a great cruising bike. It is also equipped with cruise control.  Ihave taken it on a 1,000 mile trip and could have kept going no problem. Very comfortable ride for one or two passengers. It is a 2006 and is fuel injected. Any questions feel free to email and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  The bike is also for sale locally and I will end the sale early if it is sold.  Thanks for looking.

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.

Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. More from Harley-Davidson on Krawiec’s win: “I think this is really a statement on the season, to end it with an all-Harley final and the championship, and with Willie G.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
