 2000 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard (FLHT)

Add-ons include within last 2 years of my owning the bike:

Stage 1 breather kit, small ape hangers with new cables Willie G hand grips, purple full set of LED lights with a really nice underglow (no visible wires extremely clean install) , Vance and Hines Slip-ons (These are loud) I will include the factory pipe slip-ons.

The solo seat is a le pera, all chrome parts are factory HD.

I only use Amsoil products, new fluids at 44,400 miles including tranny and primary.

Bike has custom one off leather covered bags and ghost flames.

Included is the 2 up seat and back rest, swaps over in minutes. There is a small gouge in paint where back of seat mounts to fender.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
