One of a kind custom looking for a good home where the BEST craftsmanship is appreciated. This Rubbermount softail Sportster frame features a goose neck with a cut down and widened Sportster tank. Bike is heavily engraved with chrome. To replace the engraving and chrome plating would cost in excess of $20,000.00. Bike had been sitting in my office the last 15 years as a conversation piece. We had KB Kustoms go through out the bike to bring it back to its fire breathing self. There is no speedometer. Bike has less than 300 miles on a built motor. Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
