Offered is an original XLH Iron Head Sportster. They are only original once. This bike looks like it belongs in a museum! Motor runs great and has never been cracked into. Tank, exhaust ,wheels ,fender its all originals including the buckhorn handle bars. This bike is an amazing snapshot of time, it has the original decals on the sides of the tank and they look great! This bike has never been over polished and has just the right amount of patina. Patina not rust. Bike shows well in its beautiful gold color. Pictures will show the original alarm located on the tag holder (most of these have been thrown away) I have the original title and receipts where the owner has payed for the bike. This is a classic Harley that will not be just a purchase but an investment. An amazing opportunity to own a great sportster I will also be selling some Moto Guzzi's, Norton, and Triumphs. Thu, 25 Jul 2013Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.
Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
