Harley-Davidson Softail description

There is nothing wrong with this motorcycle at all.  I have babied it with regular oil changes and maintenance since I bought it a couple of years ago .  (I am starting to look for a newer bike now which is why I am selling this one.)  I added chrome buttons, chrome and rubber hand grips, chrome brake fluid reservoir covers, and chrome brake and clutch levers.  I also added saddle bag extender/stiffeners.

I purchased this bike directly from a Harley dealer who got it from the original owner on trade.  I have a free and clear title on hand.

Feel free to contact me for additional pictures or information before you bid.  The winning bidder must pick up the bike from my home in Fishers, IN within 7 days.  Full payment is due when the winning bidder picks up the bike.  The only form of payment accepted is a wire transfer from your bank to mine or cashiers check/bank check from a large national bank or credit union.  Absolutely no cash, money orders, company checks, personal checks, or credit card payments will be accepted.  Contact me after winning the bid for additional payment details.  If you do not pick it up in seven days I will relist the bike for sale.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
