A RIDING POSITION NO OTHER PRODUCTION BIKE DARES. Butt slung low in a Badlander seat. Boot heels stretched to the forward controls. And two fists in wind's face on drag-style bars. A riding position no other production bike dares. This is pure, unapologetic Night Train. Various textures of black paint a dark picture over the engine and transmission covers, air cleaner cover, oil tank and virtually every other inch of this blacked out beaut. The heavy metal tune belting out of black powder-coated new Twin Cam 96B engine with six-speed Cruise Drive transmission does nothing to hide its not-so-innocent nature. AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games. That’s why we’re looking forward to the American Motorcyclist Association Ice Racing Grand Championships, Feb.

Fri, 08 Jan 2010Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today. As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
